Alumna Mariana Baquero featured in Ceramics Monthly

Alumna Mariana Baquero is the November 2016 Spotlight for Ceramics Monthly, the world’s largest ceramics magazine.

Ceramics Monthly explores both practice and theory, featuring advice and techniques shared by world-class potters and artists, while also exploring bigger social, cultural and aesthetic issues around the world. Baquero’s interview in Ceramics Monthly is featured alongside, for example, articles about the ceramic arts in British Columbia and Korea, as well an interview with renowned Japanese potter Masayuki Miyajima.

Mariana Baquero graduated from the University of Florida in May 2013 with her MFA in Ceramics. She now serves as the Arts Specialist at the Arts and Crafts Center in UF’s Reitz Union.
