“Re-Generation: About Nature” at Cedar Key Arts Center

Cedar Key Arts Center hosts “Re-Generation: About Nature” opening April 1st, 5-7pm in the Upstairs Art Gallery. On display for a month in the Main Gallery, the artist’s work will be available for viewing from April 1st through May 1st. The show features SAAH recent alumni and current students with a variety of media including drawing, painting, sculpture, video, photography, and ceramics. With exploring the idea of nature as a theme the artists focus on “examining the ecologies of humans, plants, animals and the land,” and “inviting audiences to reflect upon our relationships with others and ourselves”. Three alumni: Annemarie Poyo Furlong, Jessi Hamilton, Logan Marconi, and eleven current students: Ariel Bowman, David Kaleb Foshee, Setareh Ghoreishi, Sue Montoya, Ashley Ortiz-Diaz, Peter Palfi, Robert Perez, Carin Sankus, Kailey Shea Smith, Stephanie Wihelm, and Ernie Williams are featured in the group exhibition.
